“Until recently, honor crime was rarely reported and often misunderstood in Britain, viewed as something which happened elsewhere -- mainly in the Middle East or southern Asia.
But a series of gruesome killings has forced Britons to recognize that such crimes, although still rare, are committed here too, often within the country's large ethnic Bangladeshi, Indian and Pakistani communities.“

So much for culture and religion. To hell with it!

Yes. And To hell with Stawberry Fields Forever because Mark David Chapman was a fan. smilie_flagge22.gif violin.gif

If I based my religious impulses on the on how much I'd want to interact with the majority of the followers I'd be screwed.

Do you choose what album to listen to based on how cool the audience at the concert was?

Ouch! I remember when Lennon was shot, there was kind of an agreement to never speak the name of his killer - as a way of giving the killer no honor for his wretched deed. (I myself think he was some sort of Manchurian Candidate who was brainwashed into doing it - the New World Order didn't have room for Lennon)

Tonight marks the 25th anniversary of Lennon's death. Sadly that night and the following day will be forever etched in my memory. I even remember what I was wearing while mourning in front of the Dakota that day. My life took some strange turns that week.

R.I.P. John Winston Ono Lennon. The world is a sadder and more violent place in his absence.
