I am not usually that fond of cops and robbers type of tv-shows, but yesterday I saw something that captured my attention. It was called The Wire. Language is a little bit harsh, but the storytelling and characters are interesting. FLOWERS.GIF

Yes, it's one of those HBO shows. When it comes to cable TV they do produce some decent shows. They are the mob that produced "Sopranos" and "Six Feet Under". I really enjoyed the first two seasons of "The Wire", third was a bit watered down though. Let's hope upcomming 4th season will be better wink.gif

Good to know. It seems that HBO does indeed produce some good quality programs. I am a big fan of Sopranos and Six Feet Under as well.
You changed your avatar to a winterish one. Is it really time already, or did you remove your "I am up here in the mountains with my mtb and about to reveal my inner speed demon" picture just to make me, the injured one, feel a little better? huh.gif

Yes, HBO produces some good stuff. Their latest series "Rome" is probably my new favorite, now that "Six Feet Under" is over.

Hehe, I think my inner speed demon has much more fun during winter. I am pretty sure that I am much faster on the board than I am on my mtn bike wink.gif

The season for snowboarding hasn't quite started yet. The first ski resort opened over the weekend, but the snow is still rather lousy. Judging from how much snow we are getting up in the mountains, I think my season will start around mid-Nov.

BTW if you are interested I posted a few pictures from last weekend's hike in the Gallery area.
