i think there should be a topic where people share their ipod playlist of the moment, winamp playlist, mix-tape playlist... Does anyone make lists based on moods or themes or activities?

I like listening to Curtis Mayfield and pretending I'm a black gangster in New York in the Seventies while I'm doing anything mundane, like cleaning or the dishes .... Esp. the Superfly soundtrack

What about you ?

ok right now, in honour of Tiffany, i am listening to a sequence of every single version of the song "I THINK WE'RE ALONE NOW", ever made, in chronological order:

starting with:

1. The Shondells (late 60s)
2. TheRuninoos (70s-80s)
3. Lene Lovich (70s)
3. Tiffany(80s)
5. Yo la tengo (90s)

As for the year 2000, I think the only person able to do justice to this song is obviously me.

WOW

how did you get all those versions ?

I am a computer illiterate who can barely use Microsoft Word but I have a friend who is savvy with the song-getting software. This is how I get songs for the past many years. Despite the free-factor, I find this method far less enjoyable than the spontaneous real world song scouring that existed before mp3s. It seems this mp3 phantom has rendered that former passtime hard to perform if not obsolete.

So which is your favourite Pulp song and why.
