Strange thing to see ... the Dalai Lama appears as a judge on the Australian TV show MasterChef. He does show kindness and expresses compassion towards one contestant whose dish does not turn out just right, but still, what a strange place to find the Buddhist spiritual leader.

That's a question I've asked in many a context, but in this one I always thought how funny would it be if ISKCON succeeded somewhat in their plans for world domination and, of all things, owned their own TV channel or network.

It wouldn't be called something typical or usual, like KRSNATV or whatever, but something like 'Just See!'

Yes, JustSeeTV, where 24/7 the channel would broadcast a slew of unending content all geared towards signalling/explaining/proving how superior KC is to everything. JustSee, MasterChef, where various devotee cooks of international fame like Yamuna Devi, Kurma and Adiraja dasas each compete to make the tastiest prasadam without themselves tasting the food to maintain it's purity. If it were possible, perhaps Krishna himself could be invited to judge the contest, though I doubt his judgement would be fair because bhāva-grāhi janārdanaḥ, the taste of the food wouldn't matter but only the intention with which it was cooked.

And who says Krishna would have to taste it anyway? aṅgāni yasya sakalendriya-vṛtti-manti, he need only look at it to know it's taste and intention!
