On the Caitanya Symposium we are having a discussion about the Age and Authenticity of the Bhagavata. Everyone here (and pundits especially!) is welcome to take part there. As CS doesn't allow file attachments to posts, I was asked by Gerard to consider posting a file here and providing the link to it there. Hope nobody minds.

The artistic design of that site is hideous
but I'm enjoying the threads.

Haha! Yes, Dr. Nitai has been known for years for his eye-gouging web design, but I highly recommend checking out that thread for anyone who can see it. It's pretty exciting seeing a research project take place "live" like that. Unfortunately, I do not have anything meaningful to contribute to it.

Interesting discussions. The topic interests me. I once did a metric analysis, as mid-term paper, of the BhP, comparing it to the metric material in the MBh, Ramayana, Visnupurana, and Harivamsa. Perhaps something more, can't remember. I would have to dig on an ancient PC to find that paper. Not sure I'll get inspired enough to mess with a steam engine . . .
