Thank you everyone for helping me to get on----now I did not recieve an e-mail regaarding confirmation----I am at a friends' apartment and I cannot stay long but I will again say thank you and I will soon describe my interests in paraphysical
realms, though not neccesarily occult. Is there a UFO thread on this website?
I am also very interested in "hollow earth" or "inner earth" subject matter in
this regard.
I firmly believe that there are MANY MANY things that Prabhupada and other
vaisnava acaryas did not want us to know about as it would eventually prove
to become a powerful distraction against spiritual life. Does'nt it seem odd that there is supposedly trillions and trillions of tons solid rock and earth beneath
our feet? What purpose would really be served by having nothing but trillions and
trillions of tons useless nothing except something to stand on. I believe strongly and solidly in hollow "earth" theory that there must be some concievable purpose
to such dimensions aside from trillions and billions of tons of solid MASS.
No, I believe (beyond hypothesis) of a purpose to all this and I doubt entirely
that any government would find itself at an advantageous position to take a
course of action ungoverned and without regard for consequences.
I find myself short on the clock again but I shall certainly return as I am entertained in entirety at this prospect. I will be back, and thank all again!!

Some useful things I can imagine that big mass is there for:
- to hold the more useful parts of the globe under our feet from gravitational collapse;
- to supply us with important minerals and resources via geochemical processes;
- to act as a mechanism for causing earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, helping Earth to work as a correctional facility;
- to provide us the necessary gravity that enables us to remain on the surface of the planet.

By the way, what is the entire universe - besides the Earth and the Sun - for? Especially those big empty places between the planets?

Be sure you entered your email address correctly in your settings in the control panel, and look up at the top of the forum when you log in, over at the right side, for a link to re-send the validation email. When you get that email there will be a link to click on to complete the process. Check any spam filters to make sure the email didn't land there.

I thank you for your kind reply, Chanahari.
I must say that if the astronomer Carl Sagan were still alive and he read what you wrote about "Some useful things I can imagine that big mass is there for" he would undoubtedly become overwhelmed with awe. It was written in a well-versed, authoritative, and scientific posture.

My original post,however, was not structured properly and it diverted the attention
of so many readers to "trillions of tons of mass" without necessary precision.

How many times have we heard that there are sooooo many different forms of life throughout (thats the key word) this, one of the smaller universes.
Why do some people here voices??
Are they necessarily insane?? Or our they actually hearing "living entities" that
cannot be readily percieved. I think this true and some of them are NOT freindly
to humans. Most of them do not have the power or ability to do too much damage
(depending on the human of course) so indeed the remedial solution could simply
become to recall the directive (posthumous) of our beloved President Franklin Delano Roosevelt; "We have nothing to fear but fear itself".

Well, I seemed to have wandered a bit---now back on the trolley--
I think that there are living entities beneath our feet, I AM LATE for the bus
and to my curses I must leave again (pronounced aGAIN)

I will be back and set this to a more serious tone. I promised i will have
composed a more worthy offering.

Thanks again to all--my flaw< I have been MOST inattentive chronologically.

Dan,

I used to be interested in the Hollow Earth theory, too, together with the We Never Went to the Moon theory, the The Whole World is Ruled by a Handful of Rakshasas theory, the Alien Greys and the US Government Connection, and many other theories that were/are heartily embraced by many I have met in ISKCON. I used to be fanatic about accepting these things blindly, too, because I put great faith in the honesty of devotees and felt kinda cool hanging out with the crew that knew so much more about "reality" than everyone else. That was, of course, not the hardest thing to do while sitting in a virtual monastery in the hills of Sweden with next to no contact with the outside world.

During the years that I have been living outside of the temple I got confronted with opposing views to all that great mystical knowledge that I had cherished as truth for so long. Combined with my realizations about truthfulness in ISKCON and the noticeable affection that many of its members appear to have for naively accepting whatever esotheria is thrown their way, I decided to investigate these things for myself. And I did so for years. That is what ultimately led me to conclude that the moon landings by the US indeed took place.

Another item that lost its glow were the so-called Ananda Tapes, which were hot in the mid-90s. They held a very lengthy interview with a guy who called himself Ananda and spoke for hours about his abductions by the Alien Greys and his infiltration of highly secret underground US bases, where he found genetic experiments on humans and what not.

The same for the Philadelphia Experiment, the Bermuda Triangle, the Hollow Earth, and others. Now, this does of course not mean that there is nothing in this world that cannot be explained rationally. There are still many unanswered question about ancient cultural anomalies. The Dogon tribe would be a good place to start. However, you'll find that many of the so-called mysteries that new-agy people run around connecting to each other in a big glob of conspiracies are poorly documented and poorly understood. I'm not claiming to know everything about everything, but most of my own research would usually end up at a dead end or a wall of proof to the contrary.

Nonetheless, good luck with your pursuit of the truth!

Dear Bhakta Dan,

Your IP addresses resolve to the Public Library in Boston. As discussed in this topic, threats were made against one of our members here on a website he does webmaster support for--although the person making the threats mistook the author of the site for our member here. (A worrying case of mistaken identity.) The threats were made from the same Public Library in Boston that you used to post from. This leads me to wonder whether:

A. You are the same person who made the threats both on the protect a cow website and Istagosthi. This is a person who has a history of making threats against multiple people including myself. So you can imagine that I'd be concerned.

or

B. You are not this person and may be in danger if you run into this person while using the library computers. Therefore you deserve to be warned.

It leads me also to wonder if you are failing to get validated because you didn't give a legitimate email address.

I want to give you a chance to answer these concerns and if you are indeed Randy from Boston I'd like to open a dialogue about your hostility so that we can resolve these issues and stop worrying about watching our backs. I really can't see that any of the people Randy has threatened deserve bodily harm for anything they said to him online.

If you are not Randy, perhaps you'd like to get a physical description from our member Darwin so as to avoid running into him in the library.

I am trying to offer you the benefit of the doubt. smile.gif

To you i send my heart felt love heart.gif no matter what Jatayu might say or think :glare: ! ( feeling a little "peer pressure")

I am aware that I am not Jatayu's favorite person. While he once apologized for things he said about me I see that he is at it again. That's unfortunate but you can't please everybody. We simply have different paths.

Oh, so you know that he does not think you are his favorite? What does he do to make that known? He has helped us in our missions, so i feel him as a peer, but would like to know how he treats those who i admire, and love. Or should this be in a PM?
