Homer, I really like the song “One More Kiss”a lot! It has this great flowing acoustical guitar work on it, backed by this mystical ambient sound and feeling. Great stuff, keep it up and get that CD out! cool.gif

I am very disappointed with the sound I get from the mp3 downloads. Really degraded. I am spoiled by my studio monitors.

That is so beautiful. It reminds me of a Daniel Lanois recording, which i no longer have, but there is a similar etheral quality to it.

I just figured out how to get the volumne thing happening on my laptop (finally noticed the 'hidden icons', so i've been listening for the first time to this entire thread. This one is the best of the best!

When I get over this nasty cold and nature turns my full hearing back on, I look forward to listening. heart.gif

Just so you know; we have been listening to your recordings over here. My wife paints and I write, while your music is on. I write just for the sake of writing, but my wife is preparing some paintings for an exhibition. Creativity creates more creativity, so thank you sir. Keep em`coming! thumbs up.gif

I have wondered if I should continue to share my musical ideas with you all as the sound quality of the mp3 files is really disappointing. Maybe I should see if wav files sound less degraded? I will try it.

These tunes I am sharing are often musical sketches I am experimenting with. So I am baring my soul, warts and all, including clinkers and mistakes. It is very scary sharing such raw material.

I am just now learning to feel comfortable attempting to sing while I play and record at the same time. I would prefer to sing without doing three things at the same time – it throws me off.

Your comments touch me deeply as I feel the power of the creative force is something that is divine and it is something we can infect one another with. This force is even more important than the creation itself.

I edited the mix and I used a wav format. Didn't wish to repost but I am always trying to get a better sound.

I tried the wav but when I checked it was over 20 megabytes!

I have to be careful I don't smother her with kisses.

I especially like kissing her neck. wub.gif

Homer, you are inspiring me. I have been thinking for some time of getting an electronic keyboard, something small to start with (I have no money now anyway, but when I have a job), and I want to learn how to play. Since I was a child I was fascinated by any piano I came into contact with but we couldn't afford one.

Do you have any brand recommendations for something to start out with?
Homer
The best advice I can give you is to join this forum and ask them. They are an amazing bunch of musicians ( I believe there around 60 000 forum members) who would be more than happy to steer you in the right direction.

Glad I am of some use to you, dear lady.

However, if you would rather that I advise you then kindly let me know.

There are many inexpensive keyboards, both new and secondhand, costing from $100 to $$$$$$.

Just a thought- If you're considering getting a piano and drive, there are always people giving away uprights for next to nothing. or literally free to uplift on ebay.

I would dearly love one, but I can't imagine where I'd put it. That's probably why they're trying to find homes for them too. Someday, if I ever own a home, I will get one.
