wellcome back ۞ ۞ ۞, a neighbor had hep c and took interferon for a year and now tests come up negative for the virus in his system, was a tough year for him though and interferon gets you feeling really out of it and depressed

but now he is through all that and he feels and looks great

I had hepatitis A years ago in the late 80s, so I can empathize. I am sorry you contracted it. It is a growing epidemic yet you'd think HIV awareness would make a bit of a dent in it since both are blood-born viruses.

I like to think of chronic and terminal illnesses as a blessing to wake us up and make us more aware of our blessings and our need for spiritual focus. Or at least, I try to see them that way. A work in progress, to be sure.
