Sounds like the ingredients for one of those bad jokes about characters walking into a bar, “I was sittin in a bar, when all of a sudden there walked in the Buddha, Sankara, Madvacarya and a Duck!” Maybe it could be funny if it was a talking duck, especially if Sankara and the Buddha were in their vow of silence stage, at least Madvacarya would have someone to preach to and convert against the impending presence and doom of impersonalism!

You mean the Hamsa pellow? Yes, but why not have all varieties of water fowl? Remember, Vishnu's avatars are numerous, in fact, uncountable!

If the duck was Vishnu, Madhva would know it. Madhva's thoughts are Vishnu's thoughts. In that case Madhva's thoughts would differ only from the thoughts of some of the others. Even that, however, is questionable. Buddha probably has no thoughts at all. So there would be nothing to differ from. Shankara would have only one, undifferentiated Brahman-Thought. That thought would not admit qualification by anything. We might have to face it: Vishnu is masterfully cheating himself.
