why do atheists say "god god god" during sex?

I don't know, I never had sex with an atheist.

Maybe because they feel it's less binding than the alternative, "I love you"?

Or maybe one should conclude that there are no atheists in *holes?

agree with dhyana, it can be sticky to tell someone you love them... it can be a quid pro quo with strings on the heart

the physical body needs a few times a week servicing and while love enhances the energy and body fluids exchange, you are not just loving the other person but the entire cosmos of all that ever was, is and will be and so its good to be clear with the other person that the "you" is god

Might be cool to hear your partner exclaim "God!" (or "Goddess!") But I still think I would prefer my own name. Feels more personal!

As for me, I am amazed at the wealth of what one feels and wishes to express, and how words just feel so inadequate.

I feel the same way. When I look back, I realize that I would never have expected the true depths of what I am able to feel, and just how utterly inadequate words are when it comes to expressing those feelings.
