I also love to Blow Sno, but not roosters or cocks.

I hope to be able to get my Snow Blower going later today. We are getting an inch an hour now. We are at almost 18" of fluff. They expect that we could get up to 3 feet by tomorrow night.

Ha! they say "an inch an hour" but since lunch or an hour ago, we have got 4 inches! White out conditions, nothing is moving today, but the mail and only first class at that. Attached Image

Snow blower! Americans are so labour-saving practical.

18" of fluff sounds like a lot. Where do you live?

we ended up getting 27 inches, (someplaces it drifted to much more)and it was not so much fluff afterall. it was cold dry snow, but very compacted because of the winds that were with it.

I live high on a hill.

Yeah, but Babu's word was a more precise description of the way it came this time. And there is a big difference too. This snow has a lot more water in it if you were to melt it, then if it was "fluffy".

Tonight the temperature was falling beyond all sanity and just stopped a little bit short of hell. Sometimes I have been thinking that it must be nice to live in a Farenheit country, since that temperature is always higher, and thus creates a kind of illusion of warmer weather, but now I noticed that Farenheit is sinking faster than Centigrade.
At some point Farenheit must be overtaking Centigrade. I wonder when that is.
Could the conclusion be that Farenheit is always warmer, except in really Arctic climate, where Centigrade is preferred?

Tonight it was -22 Farenheit here and -30 Centigrade. Almost at that point.

Yikes Prisni, -30 sounds awful. It was -15 here and it felt outrageous enough. How is the water in your pipes?
