I have put him on ignore sometime back and will not budge, I'm not sure why he is persisting, Yes its really getting childish, especially after apology after apology is given...and now he is getting others to come in for him, where's it end?

If someone called me a name in a pm (in which case it's hard to understand the mood anyway) I would have said: "phuck off, see ya" forget it and move on...
not carry it around for years..

I've personally had it with this continued discussion after several moderator requests to drop it or take it elsewhere. It seems that one party has tried but the other party has continued.

So let me make this clear: The next post on the topic by either party will get the poster put on moderator preview and potentially banned if it continues beyond that point.

Normally I would send a PM to this effect but one of the parties has blocked me from sending him private messages. I've chosen to let that go but frankly, that alone is potential grounds for being banned given that using the PM system is a vital tool for moderators.

Quite a while back, a fairly long time ago as I recall, I had blocked your PMs for personal reasons. You actually advised against that sort of thing for the very logical reason you have set out and as a I am a man to succumb to logic I unblocked
you. I even recall you making a public post about that sort of thing and I am sure I advised you publicly.

So please, Tapati, take this from me: you are not blocked by me and have not been for such a long time, I think even before the time I sent a little donation to support your forum.

i find that blocking someone out can happen quickly but the unblocking and the healing takes time

Talasiga, I hardly have the time to check periodically whether I am still blocked by someone. Considering that the block went on for over a year, it seemed likely that it would stay blocked, so I didn't even think to keep checking. I just didn't care that much.

So, anyone who has blocked moderator PMs has potential to be banned for that alone,

and said so
and you "didn't care that much" to check before you aim ?
