To my Brothers and Sister here at GR, I am wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, one with the true meaning of love and sharing that is the essence of the message of the holiday, not to mention the birth of a very radical subversive little boy who grew up to put spiritual and political authorities on the defensive while spinning their minds and hearts in unexpected profound ways. May you all find yourself in a peaceful loving state with friends and family…and God Bless you all for being here!

Now my small but strange true holiday gift story and photo to you all…

“Here comes Santa Clothes, here comes Santa Clothes, right down Santa Clothes Lane!!!” The song was deafening but curious, it sounded familiar but was different? It took a few seconds but when I ran into the display in front of me, the puzzle of the sound vibrations became clear…they were singing Santa Clothes not Santa Claus! In front of my eyes hung the disembodied Santa suits with their accompanying heads a few feet above, eyes open and lips smiling, ready to figure out if you’ve been naughty or nice. They even had one Mrs. Claus smiling head with a few red dresses hanging below. It was like coming across a macabre murder scene from the North Pole…as if a disgruntled overworked elf went mad and had his way with the Master who knew not when to stop! Well, at least I know now where the Mall Mr. Claus’s come for their wardrobe, but what of the little kids who walk by, how strange, how surreal…imagine all the kids now singing…”Here comes Santa Clothes, Here Comes Santa Clothes…right down their parents worst holiday Nightmare Lane!”

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining;
It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope, the weary soul rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night, O holy night, O night divine!

Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming,
Here came the wise men from Orient land.
The King of kings lay thus in lowly manger,
In all our trials born to be our Friend!
He knows our need—to our weakness is no stranger.
Behold your King; before Him lowly bend!
Behold your King; before Him lowly bend!

Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is love and His Gospel is peace.
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother
And in His Name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
Let all within us praise His holy Name!
Christ is the Lord! O praise His name forever!
His pow’r and glory evermore proclaim!
His pow’r and glory evermore proclaim!

Wouldn't it be an amazing thing if all oppression did cease?

Depending on your time zone and imagination, a Saviour has been born to (save) the world or Mary is still in labour.

Peace on earth and good will for sure, eh?

I can testify brother, yes I can, for in my closet of Christianity I have a cross that I nail myself onto whenever I’m in the mood for some self crucifixion. Next to that exists an official preachers can of hair spray that I put on before lighting a candle and looking at the pictures of the late John Paul II and the still living Reverend Billy Graham. I sit on a case of snake oil while in the dark thumbing my rosary while crying out, “Oh Father, why have you forsaken me?” When the guilt of my life gets too out of hand I climb into a confessional and cry out my sins and then say 5 Hail Mary’s and 10 Our Fathers. I sing a few hymns before finally speaking in tongues, which then gives me the courage to go door to door and pass out the latest Watchtower magazine. Halleluiah and Glory Be To The Highest!

As fun as that all is, you ought to see my Vaisnava closet!!!

Well i had a good day...my husband is trying to suck up to me and let him move back in so I got a nice gold necklace from him (I let him come for the day to see the kids and also because my mum said if my grandmother found out we had separated it would ruin her christmas)
I spent the morning cooking then everyone turned up my mother, my grandmother, my 2 brothers,my brothers flatmate, my husband and my kids then we all opened our presents together before the kids went totally crazy trying to restrain themselves. Then we all had a nice lunch and lazed around in the sun talking. Was very nice.

No, you got it all wrong! God's (and Their eternal associates') pastimes are eternal...and just because you don't believe in the immacuate conception doesn't mean it didn't or doesn't happen. mf_pope.gif

Virgin lizard birth at Christmas
From correspondents in Paris
December 21, 2006 07:11am

"BRITISH zoologists have a Christmas tale of their own to tell - a rare giant lizard, the Komodo dragon, is about to give "virgin birth"."

Maybe it is not so special, after all?

Or is this the second coming?

This virgin birth should immediately be introduced in every GV community in order to avoid animalistic and disgusting sexual activity.

It was the Holy Ghost who impregnated Mary...get ur facts straight!

He is part of the Holy Trinity, which is a part of God, like your hand is part of you..

Perhaps he is Gods genitals..?

Maybe virgin, maybe not. Some reptiles can get impregnated and keep the sperm (or maybe the impregnated eggs?) within their body for years and years before letting the embryo develop. I recently read a story of a large snake (a boa?) in a Swedish zoo, which was acquired years back and lived in full celibacy ever since, until it unexpectedly gave birth to a bunch of baby boas.

So now you American boys and girls see to it that this authorized Vedic method is introduced throughout this Krsna consciousness movement.

So, if you don't do IT for a few years, do you become a virgin again?

The first ingredient is that we must have a Herod to head the community.
Only then can we be sure that a surviving child is truly of virgin birth ......

Buddhas enlightenment day is celebrated by some around December the 8th, I think it's a much more significant celebration that Christmas, as Christ would not have had as much material to preach with had it not been for the Buddha...
