Radhanatha's "charisma" is pure pretension. Anyone can look around slowly with half-closed eyes and a silly smile plastered across their face while walking slowly everywhere, and have people think you are a hotshot-adhikari. Anyone who dances like he does in kirtans and Ratha-yatras, a cross between a fairy dance and ballet, will naturally be in "sublime ecstasy". He talks so softly that his voice can hardly be picked up by mikes, so he has a temple room full of devotees and visitors listening to an "ultra-profound and beautiful" lecture that they can't even hear. And of course he'll recognise you if you put yourself in his face every day by sitting right at the front to listen to his inaudible lectures, and even call you by your name. Next time he visits your temple he hardly recognises you.
Same with "charismatic" Bhakti Caru, the other popular guru who owns more or less the other half of the initiates at the temple. At least you can hear his lectures, but he'll also forget who you are the next time he visits your temple. Maybe I'm bitching too much, these guys are jet-age parivrajakacharyas after all. Their travel schedules can make a rock band's head spin, and they must meet hundreds of people very day so why will they remember little old you? Perhaps if you seek attention via making a humble-substantial donation, you'll then be adorned with the spiritual qualities that attract the half-closed eyes and plastic smiles of such liberated souls. -------------------- "I know not how I may seem to others, but to myself I am but a small child wandering the vast shores of knowledge, every now and then finding a small pebble to content myself with." ~~ Plato

... these guys are jet-age parivrajakacharyas after all. Their travel schedules can make a rock band's head spin, and they must meet hundreds of people very day so why will they remember little old you? jet-age-parivrajakacarya - A monk who travels in solitude, planning to meet throngs of admirers daily. I guess life is lonely at the top. The Supreme Personality of Godhead - He is the most personable, therefore he is above everyone. conditioned soul - The soul is never moistened by water. Yet it can be conditioned. The example of hair is significant in this connection. The spirit soul is one-ten-thousandth the size of a tip of hair in size. And this is the reason people use hair conditioner. It makes water wetter! -------------------- "He by whom Brahman is not known, knows It, he by whom It is known, knows It not. It is not known by those who know It, It is known by those who do not know It." ~Kena Upanishad II.3

The Supreme Personality of Godhead - He is the most personable, therefore he is above everyone. It is a multiple personality Godhead, and the SPoG is that one of the multiple personalities in God's head that is statistically most active. Most probably an ADHD dude. -------------------- In this endeavor there is no loss of ammunition (Gita 2.40).

I always thought of the SPoG as an ADHD dudette with 3 major manifestations, still statistically most active of the multiple personalities in the head of God, and with a most appropriate name. Perhaps this one song of hers explains why we are here now writing about what we are? -------------------- "It's not how many times you draw breath that counts in a lifetime, but how many time something takes your breath away."
