I got the following email from Paul Ackerman prabhu, so glad to hear his e-voice. I will be sending this page as a link to him, hopefully if he has not already, he will join us, as a former or present Vaisvava?
please read!!!! Please Be Extremely Careful especially if using internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on. This information arrived this morning direct from both Microsoft and Norton. Please send it to everybody you know who has access to the Internet. You may receive an apparently harmless email with a Power Point presentation "Life is beautiful." If receive it DO NOT OPEN THE FILE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, and delete it immediately. If you open this file, a message will appear on your screen saying: "It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful." Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC and the person who sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password. This is a new virus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon. AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the antivirus software's are not capable of destroying it. The virus has been created by a hacker who calls himself "life owner." PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THIS EMAIL TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS and ask them to PASS IT ON IMMEDIATLY --------------------  CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT: This message, together with any attachments is intended only for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed. That would have to be our new member paulack. Metamorphosis, since you know him personally, would you mind contacting him and asking if he has experienced any trouble signing up? His status is still given as Validating (not Member). That means that he has not clicked on the link in the automatically generated e-mail message which GR sends to the e-mail address specified by the new member in the registration form. This might happen if one is simply offline for a longer time after having registered and doesn't read that e-mail. But it may also mean there is a problem with the e-mail address (a typo, mailbox full, etc.). Without clicking on that link, the registration process isn't completed.
